Shipping & Delivery Policy
At MarketRegal™, we are committed to ensuring timely, safe, and reliable delivery of all orders worldwide. Our hybrid logistics model combines platform-partnered carriers and seller-managed fulfillment, governed by configurable shipping profiles.
1. Fulfillment Channels
- Platform-Partnered Shipping: MarketRegal works with leading carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, and regional partners for both domestic and international delivery. Options may include standard, express, and hyperlocal shipping depending on serviceability.
- Seller-Managed Shipping: In specific cases, sellers may dispatch products directly using their own logistics providers. All such sellers must comply with agreed dispatch and delivery SLAs.
2. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated dynamically based on:
- Delivery distance (origin and destination postal codes)
- Volumetric weight and dimensions
- Service level (standard, express, international, or seller-direct)
- Applicable promotions, shipping rules, and waivers
All charges are displayed transparently at checkout before order confirmation.
3. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery times vary by category, method, and destination. Typical timelines:
- Domestic (India): 3–7 business days (metros & Tier-1 cities)
- Remote/Interstate: Up to 10 business days
- Express: 1–3 business days (if available)
- International: Timelines vary by country and carrier; an estimated window is shown at checkout, subject to customs clearance in the destination country.
Timelines are calculated in real time using courier APIs, handling times, and service coverage.
4. Shipping Profiles
Every product is mapped to a Shipping Profile, which may be:
- Seller-Defined: Configured via the seller dashboard (e.g., flat-rate, free, weight-based) and subject to approval.
- Admin-Defined: Centrally enforced by MarketRegal for platform-managed or sensitive categories.
Profiles may include zones, carriers, pricing logic, dispatch SLA, and maximum TAT.
5. Real-Time Calculations
Our system computes shipping dynamically using:
- Distance matrix between seller and buyer
- Courier partner APIs (rates & ETAs)
- Product handling time and package weight
This ensures accurate rates and realistic delivery commitments.
6. International Shipping & Incoterms
Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, international shipments follow DAP/DDU (Delivered At Place / Delivered Duty Unpaid) Incoterms:
- MarketRegal arranges carriage to the destination country using global partners.
- Buyer Responsibility: Duties, VAT/GST, import taxes, customs clearance, and brokerage fees in the destination country.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Offered only where explicitly shown at checkout; duties/taxes are prepaid.
Incoterms define responsibility and risk. Under DAP/DDU, MarketRegal delivers to the destination, but buyers settle local duties and taxes. Risk transfers once the carrier attempts delivery.
7. Customs, Tariffs & Destination Rules
- Import clearance is subject to local laws. Buyers must provide any required documents (ID, tax number, import permits) promptly.
- Tariffs and taxes are assessed based on HS Code, declared value, and country of origin.
- Carriers/brokers may levy clearance service fees; these are payable by the buyer unless DDP is chosen.
- Customs inspections may cause delays beyond MarketRegal’s control.
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the ordered item is legally importable into their country.
8. Carrier Liability & Limitations
- Once handed to the carrier, liability for transit risk and timelines is governed by the carrier’s terms of carriage.
- MarketRegal will assist in filing claims with carriers but cannot guarantee reimbursement beyond the carrier’s liability limits. Claims may require photos, packaging, or affidavits.
- Force majeure events (weather, customs actions, strikes) may impact delivery schedules.
9. Prohibited & Restricted Items
- We may decline shipments to embargoed destinations or of restricted categories (hazardous goods, regulated items, etc.).
- Orders found non-compliant may be cancelled and refunded net of unrecoverable costs.
10. Order Tracking
All shipped orders include a tracking ID. Updates are shared via SMS/email and available under the "My Orders” section.
11. Failed Deliveries & RTO
- If delivery fails due to unavailability, wrong address, refusal, or unpaid duties/fees, the order may be returned to origin (RTO). Refunds (if applicable) are net of forward, return shipping, customs, and handling charges.
- Lost/Damaged Shipments: Eligible orders may be refunded or replaced once validated with the carrier.
12. Exchanges
Exchanges may be available for eligible categories. For cross-border exchanges, return shipping and customs costs may apply. See our Refund & Return Policy for details.
